At Cyclops Rides Alaska, a new moped and E-Bike rental company, we are seeking a Temporary Operations Manager for the month of May. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for outdoor activities and who enjoys working in the visitor industry who is looking to make a generous hourly wage, work a few days a week, and gain bonus compensation for reaching shared goals.

May Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the de-winterizing of equipment. (May include testing E-Bike batteries and charging Moped batteries.

• Weekly ensure all equipment is fueled and charged before renting.

• Manage equipment exchanges for online bookings.

• Place and manage signs and marketing materials.

• Operate a pop-up sales area during large cruise ship days (May 14th, 16th, 23rd, 27th, 28th, 30th).

Additional responsibilities would include:

• Leading E-Bike and Moped tours.

• Selling rentals directly to tourists.

• Managing our online booking system.

• Handling email correspondence.

• Brainstorming marketing material

• Managing website and social media.

• *Education in business accounting.

Requirements:

• Either experience or intest working in the tourism/cruise/visitor industry.

• Strong skills or desire to grow personal organization and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks from customers.

• Passion for outdoor activities and enthusiasm for relational business.

• Strong value for hosting visitors well and a generous attitude towards customer service.
